How do I apply?
Application materials, including transcripts, personal statement, resume, and letters of recommendation, will be submitted through SOPHAS, the centralized application service for all of the accredited schools of public health. Once you have completed your SOPHAS application, you will submit a supplemental application through the University of Arizona Graduate College and pay the application fee. What can you do with a Master of Public Health degree?
You can work in a variety of settings, including health care delivery and administration, government organizations and nonprofits.
Are the Master of Public Health degree courses really online?
Yes. You can complete your degree from anywhere. All you need is an Internet connection. You will, however, be required to apply what you learn in class during your internship in your local community.
Do I get financial aid for an online program?
Our online MPH degree is eligible for federal loans.
What do I need to succeed in online learning?
Since you’re learning on a more flexible schedule, we’ve found time management and organization are keys for success. Along with basic technical skills, you need to manage your time to study. The expected amount of time to complete course assignments are estimated by concentration below:
Applied Epidemiology: 25-30 hours per week
Health Promotion: 18-20 hours per week
Health Services Administration: 18-20 hours per week
