About Us

The University of Arizona

As a leading-edge public university, we’re inspired to explore humanity’s most fundamental questions — about science, medicine, the arts and business. Our faculty includes members of esteemed national academies, Pulitzer Prize winners, White House Champions of Change and celebrated thought leaders in numerous disciplines. Since it was founded in 1885, UA has grown into one of the nation’s leading research universities, impacts more than 30,000 jobs statewide and helps infuse billions of dollars into the state economy every year.

The Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health

Established in January of 2000 by the Arizona Board of Regents, the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health offers tremendous opportunities for education, research and community involvement in the public health arena. As the only accredited college of public health in Arizona, we take pride in developing a collaborative academic network to serve the public health needs of Arizona and beyond.
