As a leading-edge public university, we’re inspired to explore humanity’s most fundamental questions — about science, medicine, the arts and business. Our faculty includes members of esteemed national academies, Pulitzer Prize winners, White House Champions of Change and celebrated thought leaders in numerous disciplines. Since it was founded in 1885, UA has grown into one of the nation’s leading research universities, impacts more than 30,000 jobs statewide and helps infuse billions of dollars into the state economy every year.
